Mind-Body Practices

Developing Awareness Through the Mind–Body Connection

Mind–body practices support the development of awareness, presence, and regulation through the relationship between the body, the nervous system, and conscious attention.

This pathway brings together somatic awareness, embodiment practices, and reflective disciplines that help individuals build steadiness, resilience, and deeper connection with their lived experience. Through simple but powerful practices, participants learn to notice internal signals, respond with greater clarity, and cultivate a grounded sense of presence in everyday life.

These practices are accessible to those who are new to mind–body work, while also offering depth for people who already engage in meditation, reflection, or personal development and wish to deepen or stabilise their practice.

MIND-BODY practices

Practices and Learning in The Progression Hub

Within The Progression Hub, this pathway provides a structured learning environment where individuals can explore mind–body practices through guided sessions, reflective learning, and practical tools that support integration into everyday life.

Participants can engage with a range of practices designed to gradually develop awareness, stability, and embodied presence over time. The materials support both foundational exploration and ongoing practice, allowing individuals to return to key exercises as their experience deepens.

These practices include:

  • foundational meditation and awareness practices
  • gentle somatic and body-based exploration
  • breathwork, stillness, and sensory grounding practices
  • energy awareness and practices that support integration and release
  • reflective exercises that support integration and personal insight
  • optional practice sequences for those wishing to deepen their ongoing development

The learning environment within the Hub is designed to support steady and sustainable engagement. Participants can move through the materials at their own pace, exploring practices gradually and integrating them into their daily lives.

The space itself is intentionally structured to be:

  • accessible and supportive for beginners

  • steady, reflective, and non-performative in tone

  • flexible enough for both structured learning and personal exploration

What This Practice Develops

Through regular engagement with mind–body practices, participants gradually develop greater awareness of how their nervous system, attention, and physical experience interact in everyday life.

Over time, these practices support the development of:

  • nervous system awareness and regulation

  • body-based perception and interoceptive awareness

  • grounding and presence in everyday contexts

  • emotional steadiness and personal responsibility

  • reflective and meditative practice as part of daily life

  • practical skills for working with stress, overwhelm, and reactivity

As these capacities develop, individuals often find they are able to meet life’s challenges with greater steadiness, clarity, and coherence.

Who This Pathway Is For

This pathway is designed for individuals who wish to develop greater awareness of the relationship between the mind, body, and nervous system, and who are interested in cultivating a more grounded and integrated way of engaging with their experience.

It may be particularly helpful for people who:

  • are new to meditation, somatic practices, or mind–body awareness and are looking for a clear and supportive starting point

  • already have a reflective or meditative practice and wish to deepen or stabilise it through embodied awareness

  • are interested in understanding their nervous system and developing practical tools for regulation and steadiness

  • notice strong internal or energetic sensitivity and are seeking ways to work with these experiences in a balanced and integrated way

  • want to build greater presence, clarity, and responsiveness in everyday life

The pathway supports both structured learning and personal exploration, allowing individuals to engage with practices in a way that suits their pace, readiness, and evolving interests.

about Louise dymond

The Experience Behind This Pathway

My approach to mind–body practice has developed through many years of personal exploration, formal study and direct work with individuals navigating healing, change and deeper inner development.

From an early age, I was drawn to questions of consciousness, energy and the deeper nature of human experience.  Over time, this led me into the study and practice of energy work, meditation, chakra clearing, nutritional medicine, mental health, counselling-informed approaches, and somatic and supportive modalities.

Across these different pathways, I have worked with people moving through trauma, grief, addiction, emotional overwhelm, and profound inner change, while also undertaking my own intensive process of healing, clearing and embodied integration.

The practices shared within this pathway are drawn from that lived and ongoing body of work.  They have been shaped through years of experience, study and refinement, and are offered to support others in developing greater steadiness, awareness and coherence on their own journey.

The practices offered through this pathway continue to evolve as part of an ongoing process of study, experience and practical application in supporting others on their own developmental journey.
